(More customer reviews)As a professional, I have to say this tent is awesome, and despite what the other review said, I believe it works well in cold weather as well as hot.The vents at the top (which are there so you don't suffocate in the snow) can easily be velcroed shut.This, combined with the fly keep out the wind nicely.True, the window in the fly is always open for anyone to look in, but it's pretty small.Don't camp with weirdos!
I love the fact that the fly comes all the way to the ground, which is great in the rain, and allows me to keep my gear dry without it being inside the tent.It's easy and quick to put up...a little tough in the wind, but doable.because of it's low profile, shape of the fly, and tie-down anchors, it performs excellently in strong winds.

A catanary cut floor is fully waterproof with taped seams lifted off the ground. DAC Featherlite poles provide excellent strength to weigth ratio. Snag free zipper flap allows you to zip and un-zip without getting the zipper caught. The jingle-free nylon zipper pulls promotes undisturbed sleep. Large D door gives you easy access and the shape keeps door from dragging in the dirt. The two doors of the Earlylight eliminates the need to crawl over your tent mate. The door ties neatly hold the doors open. Two vestibules allow tent mates to store their gear separately. When you need to save some pack weight, use the fly of the Marmot Earlylight Tent by itself with the optional ground sheet (sold separately) to make a lightweight, sturdy shelter.
